CPAS Step for a Cause

We actually have a lot more amazing step records to show. They were all for Step for a Cause Challenge organized by Celebral Palsy Alliance Singapore (CPAS) for year 2019!

Have you ever wonder the complex process involves while we are walking? Often, we move about freely everyday without realizing that our body requires well coordination of nerves, muscles, bones and join in order to achieve this sophisticated motion which we always take it for granted. For some people, being able to walk about doesn’t come so naturally and easy. This is the reason why everyone in Klique Design steps forward together for this challenge.

Cerebral palsy is a permanent lifelong condition caused by damage to the developing brain. Individuals may face challenges in learning, communicating and daily living due to the problems with sensation, vision, hearing, swallowing, thinking and reasoning.

Early intervention and special education are to provide young kids with celebral palsy a holistic education as early as possible in order to enable them to live a fulfilled, independent and dignified life in the future. Day care and therapy rehabilitation are long term care that support the caregivers and to maintain the abilities of people with celebral palsy. If their health is not improved or maintained, regression is quick and leaves them in a poorer state of physical and mental health. The cost of care is out of reach for many families. CPAS has been heavily subsidizing their services since year 1957.

This is not a usual September for Klique Design as before. It is our first ever STEPtember! Step for a Cause is an event aims to raise awareness and funds for individual with celebral palsy. Participants from Singapore and other countries such as Australia, NewZealand and France are joining this challenge. It is a global awareness exercise. We believe that no one with celebral palsy shall be left behind.

We thank everyone we know and showed their support in the form of monetary contribution to CPAS. Thank you!

Nothing can make us feel better than supporting our client through action. The #Herbal Bar, restaurant which prepares #soups, #desserts and #beverages from reliable ingredients (from the scratch) and whole foods, demonstrates their commitment to be a socially responsible business entity with the foods they serve. Their recipes were designed by the founder’s mother, who is also a TCM with over 40 years of experience in holistic healthcare. We definitely enjoyed the foods with distinctive taste of home and which were cooked with sincerity. Click here to visit their website.
